Cut the bread into slices about 1 centimeter thick, remove the crust if you prefer (I leave it), and then cut the slices into cubes.


Transfer the bread to a bowl, add the oil, salt, pepper and herbs and mix carefully.
Transfer the seasoned bread to the air fryer.
In this recipe we do not need to preheat the air fryer.
And cook for about 5 minutes, remembering to shake them halfway through cooking.

Air Fryer Homemade Croutons Recipe, - delicious flavored croutons.
Ingredients
- 3 to 4 Slices of homemade bread
- 3 Tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon black pepper
- Chopped parsley
- 1 Teaspoon oregano
Instructions
- Cut the bread into cubes making sure they are about the same size.
- Place the bread chunks in a bowl, sprinkle in 3 teaspoons of olive oil, salt and spices, to taste; I often use oregano and parsley, and mix gently.
- Lay the bread cubes directly on the basket of the air fryer.
- Shake lightly and bake at 180° C (350° F) for 5 minutes; while baking, a couple of times open and shake the croutons slightly.
- The croutons will be ready to enjoy!
Notes
The advice is always not to overlap foods in the basket, especially when you need to give crispness.
If you have a lot of them, you can cook them in several rounds.
