How To Make Spaghetti Sauce With Fresh Tomatoes


There's nothing better than a homemade spaghetti sauce made with fresh, in-season tomatoes. The vibrant flavors you get from using ripe, locally-grown tomatoes can't be beat.


Ingredients: Pasta  Extra virgin olive oil Garlic Cherry tomatoes Basil  Salt & pepper Parmesan cheese

Prep time: 5 MINUTES Cook time. 10 MINUTES Total time: 15 MINUTES


Bring a pot of water to a boil.

Slice the garlic garlic.

Wash the cherry tomatoes to remove any dirt  then use a sharp knife to cut each tomato in hald

Heat some olive oil in a pan t. Add the garlic and cook until lightly browned. Then add the  tomatoes, salt, pepper and basil. Continue cooking, allowing the flavors to blend.

Let the cherry tomatoes cook, and meanwhile cook the pasta al dente.

Mix the spaghetti with the sauce and stir well, add a cup of cooking water, and continue stirring.
