Air Fryer Corn On The Cob: The Tastier Recipe

Simple and quick to cook, this air fryer corn on the cob is the easiest way to eat corn on the cob.

It is a quick and easy recipe, but most of all, full of flavor. 

I love using this air fryer recipe when I’m short on time, or when it’s really hot and I don’t want to turn on the stove or grill.

Al I have to do is put them in the fryer, set the time and take them out – that’s it.

They are rich in iron, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium and are also rich in vitamins belonging to the B group and potassium.

On the contrary, they are low in sodium.

One way to check if it is good is if you try to cut a kernel with your fingernail, it must release a milky liquid, as otherwise they are overripe and will remain hard even if you cook them.

You can prepare this recipe with any type of air fryer.

As always, time and degrees are approximate and depend on the appliance you have.

So always check the cooking to make any necessary adjustments.

Prepare the Corn

Clean the cob and remove all leaves, beard and filaments.

Then wash it under running water.

Before cooking, leave it at least 15 minutes soaked in cold water; it will become softer and juicier.

Afterwards, dry it well.

If you can’t find fresh cobs, you can often find pre-cooked and vacuum-packed ones at the supermarket, If you use those cobs, remember to rinse them well.

How To Make Corn In The Air Fryer

Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF (200ºC). 

Place olive oil, chopped parsley, oregano, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well together.

Brush the mixture into the corn cob and place the cob in the basket of the air fryer.

Halfway through cooking, turn the cob over.

Yes.

If you plan to use frozen corn, let it thaw for about 30 minutes before putting it in the air fryer.

Tasty and easy recipe to prepare Corn On The Cob!

Prep Time 3 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Total Time 13 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 Corn on the cob
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon chopped parsley
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This step helps ensure even cooking.
  2. Prepare the corn cobs by removing the husks and trimming them to fit the air fryer.
  3. Place olive oil, chopped parsley, oregano, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well together.
  4. Brush the basket of the air fryer with olive oil and place the corn cobs evenly spaced apart.
  5. Brush the corn cobs with olive oil and seasonings on both sides
  6. Cook the corn at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  7. Flip the cobs and return to the air fryer to cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. When they are ready, add a little bit of parsley and some grated cheese to make them more flavorful.
